HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1064no PC (3Z768EA)

Hello!

I have seen this problem many times before now when searching for a solution to my problem.

I bought Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz and it's working but the speed is only 2166 Mhz

and it is impossible to change the Mhz in the BIOS.

I am going to return the Corsair Vengeance.

My question is what kind of RAM can I buy that will work with my computer and give me better speed?

This is my motherboard https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c06638240

This is my computer https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c07074442

Thanks!

No. YOu can't change the memory module bandwidth in  the BIOS.

Okay nice! Thank you for your quick response.

When I read about my system, it says "Supports up to PC4-23400 (DDR4-2933)"

Does it matter if I choose a 3200 MHz memory when my system supports up to 2933 MHz?

Or will it run just fine but in 2933 MHz instead?

Yes.

The battery will downclock to the bandwidth that the motherboard's's chipset and BIOS default primary/secondary memory timings and voltages.
