My desktop PC (HP Pavilion Slimline model # s5730f) came with 4GB of RAM, and it is supposedly upgradeable to 8 GB. However, the motherboard is only equipped with 2 memory sockets, each of which can house a 2GB memory module. Can two additional memory sockets be installed, or is that something that needs to be done in the factory?
