Can i upgrade my CPU from (AMD Ryzen 5600G) to (AMD Ryzen 5600), and would it make a difference? Mainly thinking about the double cache capasity (16 MB to 32 MB).

Hi @xXBEASTXx

Some variables have to line up to do a CPU upgrade:

1. Compatible CPU socket, you have this.

2. The new CPU's TDP aligns with your MB specifications, you have this.

3. The BIOS has to detect the CPU. This variable may not be possible.

HP has validated three Ryzen "G" CPUs using the factory BIOS. Look at "Processor upgrade info" at this Link.

The latest BIOS update for your PC is Here. I don't see "additional CPU support in the "Fixes" section at this HP site.

So, the Ryzen 5600 may or may not work with your MB.

Regards
