HP Pavillion 27-D0014 - How to pair the wireless keyboard and mouse?

I have the HP Pavillion 27" Touch-Screen All-In-One model 27-D0014. All was working well with HP wireless keyboard and mouse that came in the box.

While I had my HP Pavillion PC turned on, I was trying to connect my work laptop to a separate wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. I clicked the 'connect' button for each device to pair with my work laptop but the devices were not found in the Settings/Devices/Bluetooth and was not successfull so no biggie, I guess I will have to call my company's tech support team .... BUT somehow the keyboard and mouse paired/connected to my personal HP Pavillion, replacing the original HP keyboard and mouse and now they no longer work.

There is no 'connect' button on the HP keyboard and mouse to pair back to the HP Pavillion 27-D0014 . I went to the Settings/Devices/Bluetooth/Add Device but did find the keyboard or mouse (which makes sense since 'connect' was not activated). Searched online this All-In-One model has the USB receiver dongle internally. Even found an unboxing video from 3 years ago of my same PC, and the keyboard/mouse connect automatically.

  1. How can I restablish wireless connectivity for the keyboard and mouse?
  2. If the USB receiver dongle is internal, how to access and what are the steps to pair the keyboard and mouse?

Thanks

Many HP AIO machines have internal wireless receiver for keyboard and mouse. Its specs

Its receiver is a USB black wireless keyboard and mouse combo which WON'T connect to a different keyboard/mouse that why the ONLY work with things which are in the box. Its KB and mouse WON'T connect to other machines.

Your machine has Realtek 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 5 combo therefore you can use BT keyboard & mouse.

@Banhien

Thank you for responding.

It just so happens that the wireless keyboard and mouse (both have blue 'connect' button for bluetooth pairing that inadvertently replaced the keyboard and mouse of HP Pavillion All-In-One-27-D0014, were also HP brand but for an older HP All-In-One PC that is obsolete. Maybe that is why it happened although it is poor design flaw by HP.

So my choices are:

1) As you suggested, to purchase a new bluetooth keyboard and mouse or

2) Use the keyboard and mouse that is connected now

Does that mean that the original HP keyboard and mouse that came with the HP Pavillion All-In-One-27-D0014 are useless?
