I have a HP Pavillion 32 QHD monitor. I have 2 messages that are popping up. I have 2 months left on my 1 year manufacturers warranty
1. Enable Performance Mode - This box pops up with confirm and cancel button.
a. It flickers between the confirm and cancel buttons.
b. A control icon/toggle displays in the bottom right corner of the screen. It flickers between the choices.
c. I try to use the toggle button on the back to select confirm, but it won't let me select confirm or cancel.
d. The toggle on the back of the monitor did move between the choices but I couldn't select either choice.
2. On-Screen Menus are Locked - I now have a box that pops up showing the "On-Screen Menus are Locked".
a. I have held the menu button int the back for 10 seconds to unlock the men, but it won't unlock. I've actually held in for 40 seconds and that didn't help
b. I have unplugged the power and HDMI connectors to power down the monitor for 60 plus seconds and that didn't reset the monitor.
3. Power Button - I can't power down the monitor using the power button.
a. I've tried pressing the power button for 40+ seconds to reset the monitor and it doesn't reset.
All help is appreciated.

In my honest opinion: immediately file a warranty claim -as in ASAP. Do not tinker around with a product that is still under (manufacturer's) warranty. Let 'them' figure it out how to either replace or repair your monitor.
Here's a helpful link how to initiate a warranty claim: https://donotpay.com/learn/hp-warranty-phone-number/#:~:text=To%20file%20a%20warranty%20claim,will%2....
Hope this helps.
