- I have used my MacBook Air and HP Pocket Media Drive together for years without any problems. Suddenly HP Pocket Media Drive doesn't allow me to save anything. There is over 60MB free, 120 GB totally so I have used a half.

Hello
but what then is the question?
Unless I'm mistaken, 60 MB + 60 MB = 120 MB
120 GB = a little less than 120,000 MB
I'm not sure but it's far from half in any case, you don't have enough space if you want to save more than 60mb

Thank you for your quick answer. Sorry, all in GB, no MB. HP doesn't allow me to save anything, not a picture which is only 1MB. It is said that I am allowed only to read. I have tried to access rights, but no result.

Ok, but in this case, I don't know how a MAC works.
Is it a problem with the hard drive, or with the computer, there I can' t know!
Are you using any software, backup, and / or is it the same problem if you just copy the file to disk?
is this an error message like 'the device, and write protected'?
Can you try it with another Windows computer?

Hi @TarjaB ,
Test the drive on a different PC.
I have an old pocket media drive that is still working great.
Components fail as time goes by. You could have many bad sectors on the aging pocket media drive.
