Product: Hp Compaq Pro 6300 MT

Hello, I'm Galax

 

When I start up my HP Compaq Pro 6300 MT, it beeps 5 times before stopping. The fan also gets loud. Perhaps a cooling issue?

Hi:

 

5 beeps = a memory issue of some kind.

 

If you installed those Dell memory chips and that is the result, they are incompatible.

 

See the service manual I posted for you on your other post, chapter 9, page 193 for how to troubleshoot the 5 beep code error.
