Microsoft Windows 11

hello friends,

I have a problem with the monitor resolution on the HP Pro SFF 400 G9.
I bought two new 31.5" monitors.I connected the first monitor with a DP cable and the resolution is 2560x1440, that's right.
I connected the second monitor using an HDMI cable and the resolution is 1920x1080, it can't go any higher. I want both to have a resolution of 2560x1440.
They write that the HDMI output is 1.4, so why is it only 1920x1080?

I bought an HDMI 2.0 cable, it doesn't work
I upgraded the drivers, it doesn't work
I disconnected the monitor on the DP, I thought the processor couldn't keep up with 2x 2560x1440, it doesn't work, still on HDMI 1920x1080

I don't understand why the output is HDMI 1.4 if it doesn't play more than 1920x1080. Where is the problem? Any performance limitations or am I just a moron?

Thanks a lot for any help,

Hi @LambdaCZE

According to the specifications this is the maximum resolutions supported by this HDMI port, only if it has the other HDMI port, that is optional, it can have higher resolutions. See page  49
