Hi Forum users
We have just taken delivery of some HP Prodesk 800 SFF PC's running Windows 10 64 bit. We have 6 USB devices to connect to these machines one of these is a USB powered soundbar which alone draws 1 Amp from the USB Hub. So my question is does anyone know the split of power (current limits) across the ports? Is it one Hub for the standard USB Ports and another for the Super speed ports ( i assume it is) but more importantly what are the different Current limits for these hubs and ports? Once i know this i can balance the USB current draw for the devices across the ports i don't need super fast data speeds just reliable power.
I could not find this level of information on the HP support site so any guidance is greatly appreciated.
And yes i know i can just buy USB powered hubs if comes down to it!
