I purchased a HP SSD S700 2.5" 250GB from Amazon. When I tried to register the product with HP they did not recognize the P/N or the S/N. The product description was not recognized either. My PC did not recognize the new SSD after installation. I want to make sure that I have the proper drivers downloaded.

This is a peer-to-peer discussion forum, not a path to HP Support.
I recommend that you contact HP Support, to get help.
2. My PC did not recognize the new SSD after installation.
When you enter BIOS SETUP, is the SSD recognized and listed (along with the CD/DVD device) ?
When running Windows, you have to "initialize" the disk-drive, to allow Windows to assign a drive-letter to it, and to "format" it.
3. I want to make sure that I have the proper drivers downloaded.
Drivers are necessary, and are included within Windows 10, but they are used only AFTER the motherboard has recognized the SSD.
