Microsoft Windows 11

I have an old HP Simplesave hard drive, model number SD320A and I cannot get my HP Envy running Windows 11 to load the hard drive.  I'm guessing it's a driver issue, but I cannot seem to find a driver for the hard drive.  Can I please get the driver or assistance?

Thank you.

Wow - I've not heard about these for a while -- my last SimpleSave drive died , what , ten years ago?  Although I chose not to use the software, I did use the hardware -- nice little drives for the times.

Unfortunately, the SimpleSave Drive, the backup software located on that drive, and the encryption used to lock up the data from prying eyes, was not been supported beyond Windows 7.

The reason you cannot find a driver is because it was embedded on the drive itself.  Yes, Unusual.

If you can find an old Windows 7 system to use, the software on the software might start and allow you to grab (recover) the data from the drive.

Not sure whether a forensic specialist can dig the data out of the drive without the software to decrypt.

Good Luck.
