A customer came in today because he'd left his computer's AC adapter in his vacation home after returning. The adapter is for a Slimline 270-a047cb. I've been searching high and low for the model number of the adapter, but can't find it listed anywhere. All the HP specs tell me is that it's a 90 watt adapter that outputs 19.5 volts. Does anyone know the HP part number for it?

Hi:
According to the parts list, this is the power adapter part number and description.
848054-002 | AC Adapter - Airen, 90W EPS, 89%Eff, 19.5V, 3P/RC, Chicony |
The cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter is sold separately.
What I recommend you have your customer do is to buy a genuine used but tested and working HP power adapter on eBay.
Search by the adapter part number.
The used adapters normally come with the power cord included.
848054-002: Search Result | eBay
That will be a lot cheaper than buying an adapter and power cord from HP and better than a generic adapter.

Thanks!
I always search for OEM AC adapters, and ones listed as new or open box by preference. That's why I wanted the model number. I'll be searching for a genuine adapter instead of cheap knockoffs. Plus, knowing the model number will assure me that I'm getting the right plug to fit the DC jack.
I appreciate the quick reply.
