Hello, sorry for my bad English,
I had a 2.5'' hard drive. I wanted to use it in my ProLiant MicroServer Gen8, so I used the MB882SP-1S-2B 2.5'' to 3.5'' converter.
The server had 1 physical drive, configured in a RAID0 providing 1 logical drive.
But when I boot the server and run the HP Smart Storage Administrator, it doesn't show the new hard drive (not even in unassigned units)... However, the drive is getting hotter, proving that is correctly connected (I guess).
Is there any step I missed ?
Don't hesitate to ask me for a diagnostic report, if you think it could help.
Note: the new hard drive is not detected by the operating system too, but I guess that's quite normal, since it is not assigned to any logical volume.
Any help appreciated!
