Hello,
I'm looking to upgrade my HP TE01-4000 with another SSD. However, I don't know how many SSD slots are there in this model and what slot is currently occupied.

Hi:

 

According to the product specs for the model series, there is only one M.2 slot for a NVMe SSD which is already occupied.

If you need more storage you will have to replace the existing drive with one having a greater storage capacity.

How about SATA option? Can I install another SATA SSD? And this tower I believe is an older version of 4000i which is "4000"

You should be able to if the SATA power and data cables came with the PC. 

 

If they aren't there, you'd have to find and buy the parts you need.
