The following website shoud help you to understand VR ready.
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/solutions/vrready/index.html
It is a mix of hardware and software.

If you want a VR Ready notebook or desktop PC, you will need to select that configuration. The HP web page below explains it all for the zBook series or mobile workstations.
This is not a business unit of HP. This is the HP Global support forum in English language.
You have choices. Read the web page, watch the videos or go to a store that carries the products and talk to the sales representative. You can also click the Need Help? text area. It also says Contact us now, there in the lower right-hand web page of the HP online store in your region of the world. That is the simplest means of speaking with an HP sales representative.

I certainly cannot explain what any specific thing in the sales part of HP means for HP. I am not an HP employee
HP writes the marketing and sales information and has their own definition of the specific terms.
That is information you will need to get from HP. I have asked a Moderator to have an HP team member contact you.
