Every time I open my camera app, I get a screen that switches between two errors. The first is 0xA00F4244 and the second is 0xA00F429F. It says it can't start my camera and then says it can't find it.
I have tried every troubleshooting technique and even had Windows customer support try to help. They couldn't fix it and tried to download an updated driver from HP but there isn't one. I can see the device in my device manager and it says everything is fine but it clearly isn't. It says in device manager that my driver date is from 2006. I tried going through Windows update and downloading optional updates but nothing has worked.
I really need this built-in webcam to work! Please help!
Edit: It works right now, but when it works and when it doesn't is seemingly random. I have no idea what causes it to suddenly start or stop functioning again. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
