Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good morning

I have a HP Z Turbo G2 512GB Drive in a HP Z440.

Has anyone successfully swapped the SSD for a 1TB or 2TB?

the pci-e card could care less about what size nvme ssd is installed,... the limiting factor is the computer itself

 

some early systems like the z820 have a bios limit on the bootable partition size/max drive size officially 3TB, but some 4TB drives that are actually just below that size will also work

 

however seeing that 3TB ssd's are not available and 4TB ssd's cost quite a bit i don't see this as a problem at this time
