HP Z1 Entry Tower G6 (8YH62AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Everyone, thanks for taking the time to look at the issue I'm facing.

Firstly, I've searched the forum for someone with a similar problem to me and whilst there are many threads about installing WLAN cards to machines that didnt ship with one, there doesnt appear to be one relating to my particular machine, which surprised me knowing its sold without one.

I have the Z1G6 Entry Tower Workstation and have tried a couple of external combo WLAN/BT devices from Amazon, but sadly without any real success with them. Upon speaking to HP Support, they advised me to install a dedicated internal Intel card for a better performance.

The one I was advised best suited was an AX201, detailed below.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BMPKVKC3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

However, upon further reading I'm now not sure this would be compatible with my machine so would appreciate if anyone could verify this or not. And if not, where I should be looking as I have little to no knowledge in this area. I guess also that if I purchased this card, I would need to buy compatible antennas as they do not appear to come with it? Again, not much luck in trying to find the correct antennas sadly.

Its a purchase for my business so the budget is pretty relaxed as long as Im getting value for money.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thank-you

Hi:

I'd go with this one...

Intel WiFi 6 AX200 AX200NGW M.2 Wifi Bluetooth Card 802.11ax wifi Antennas cable | eBay

Just be very careful when attaching the antenna wires to the card.

The connectors on the antenna wires and the terminals on the Wi-Fi card are very small and delicate.
