Hi
I am trying to add a remote boot switch to my workstation however it needs to be connected to the power switch pins on motherboard. I have had a good look physically and at service manual and I cant seem to see one. Anyone have any guidance on if there is a pin pair for power swtich? Thanks

not that hard to locate, using a simple multimeter on continuity setting detach the front cover to access the power button
POWER OFF THE SYSTEM AND DISCONNECT THE POWER CORD FROM THE COMPUTER
now attach your new power on wires to each leg of the switch and use the meter to confirm pressing the switch enables the meters beep tone on each wire and then route the wires as desired and terminate each wire into a connector that matches the connector on the remote power on device
if your system uses a soft on pwr button, trace the switch connections from the small circuit board the switch is mounted on
to the pwr/ front I/O wiring harness and tone out each pin while pressing the power button to locate the pwo pins
