Product: HP Z2 Small Form Factor G8 Workstation RCTO Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all - need some help on figuring out how to keep the power supply fan running at 100% when the machine is either completely shutdown or in sleep mode. Has anyone else dealt with this or know of a solution?

I can hear my deskop fan running all night long

You can unplug your PC after you log out of Windows as a workaround.

 

If there is no power the fan will not run.

 

Have you updated the BIOS to the most recent one (01.06.04 Rev. A Aug 6, 2023) available?

I just checked the list of Windows 11 bugs in the Feedback Hub and do not see your issue listed.

 

Try disabling fast startup.

 

In the video I provided, every possible way of resolving your issue is discussed. Britec09 is very thorough.
