HP Z240
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Installed Windows 7 (64-bit) onto an HP Z240. The Display driver I'm using right now is the Standard VGA Adapter, and I'm sure there's a different set of drivers I could be using. For the Drivers page on HP, I download the video drivers and when I try to update through Device Manager, it says that the drivers do not support the OS.

Display Adapter

H/W ID: PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_5912&SUBSYS_802F103C&REV_04

Also, there are some other devices the computer isn't picking up. I've tried the Chipset drivers on the HP Z240 driver page, but there's quite a few devices listed when I'm picking drivers in Device Manager and I've tried quite a few different ones to no avail.

PCI Simple Communications Controller

USB Controller

PCI Serial Port

Ethernet

****UPDATE****

Installed the program posted at the link below and it took care of the PCI Serial Port device and the PCI Simple Communications Controller:

Still need drivers for the USB Controller and Ethernet Adapter.

Hi:

If your PC has an Intel 6th gen core processor, this should be the graphics driver you need...

This package contains the 64 bit Intel graphics driver for the listed workstation models on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78284.exe

If not, try this one...

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78612.exe

If it has a 7th gen core processor...Intel only developed W10 drivers for the onboard graphics.

The easiest thing to do would be to install a supported graphics card that has support for W7.

I don't see the USB 3 driver listed on the support page, so use this one...download, unzip and run the setup application.

Ethernet:

This package contains the drivers for the Intel LAN on Motherboard (LOM) Network Interfaces, as well as PCIe Network Adapters in supported workstation models running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81001-81500/sp81288.exe

If the HP ethernet driver doesn't work, use the one directly from Intel...2nd one down on the left is for 64 bit.
