I cannot find how to dim the monitor. I am not on Windows 10. When i go to display and click on "adjust brightness" it takes me to "power options".

Adjust the brightness using controls on the monitor.
Select your model:
- HP Z24n 24-inch Narrow Bezel IPS Display
- HP Z24n 24-inch Narrow Bezel IPS Display Head Only
- HP Z24n G2 24-inch Display
Open the Software and Driver page where you will find any software available for the monitor.
Click Product Homepage > Select category User Guides >
Click / Open / Download your User Guide
Open the file and look for "Operating the monitor"
For EXAMPLE (this may not be your monitor)
Select first monitor in the list and open:
Software and Drivers - HP Z24n 24-inch Narrow Bezel IPS Display
Click on Product Homepage and open:
HP Z24n 24-inch Narrow Bezel IPS Display
Click and Open:
Category User Guides > User Guide
