I am trying to fit a 4060 Ti inside a Z820
This is working right now without the retainer.
This is a 165 W card. I also have another GPU two slots below it, and 2 other minor cards (network, NVME)
The 4060 Ti has a power connector on the side, pointing to the retainer.

I already tried a U adapter for the 8 pin connector, but it's still not enough.
Someone elsewhere suggested that the plastic shell is removable.
It seems possible to remove it, but it would also remove the green handle that snaps into the frame of the workstation.
As this is a only 25€ used part that is easy to source, I was thinking of getting one and Dremel into it until it has the clearance for the power connector.
Any thought ?
Also the U turn adapter could be made a little thinner, but I have not measured it to see if I can make it thinner somehow.
Maybe I should first load a 3d model of those in CAD and see how they interact
