z840

Hi,

I'm looking to get a Z840 and I am fascinated by Intel ARC's performance so I was hoping to get that GPU for this, until that is I read that it needs resizable bar.

I would assume Z840 wouldn't support Resizable Bar as it's a fairly new thing? Could anyone who owns a z840 confirm?

I seen this Q being asked below but the answer didn't help:

No unfortunately.  Even with the latest supported E5-2660 v4 series of CPU in the Z840 series this is gen 5 (E5-****) Broadwell which does not seem to support Resizable BAR.  Intel 10th gen + required which would require the newer HP Z4/Z6/Z8 series instead.  The GPU works a bit but for practical usage performance is crippled.  I have tried this and boot will report BAR id limiyrf to 256MB.
