Hola tengo una HP Elite Compaq 8300 y una tarjeta grafica Nvidia NVS 310, pero cuando conecto la tarjeta grafica y enciendo la PC, emite 4 pitidos cortos y una luz roja, luego cuando quito la tarjeta grafica y la vuelvo a encender la pc esta normal

The 4-beep code you are getting is related to a power issue which I don't understand, since the card you installed is well within the power supply requirements your PC has.

 

See the troubleshooting guide, Appendix A, page 58 for how to troubleshoot the 4-beep code error.

The Nvidia NVS 310 graphics card only has a 20W power draw and should work fine with your PC's 240 W power supply.

I wonder if there is a short in the card or something because if the PC works fine with the card removed, then there probably isn't a problem with anything else but the video card.

 

Either that, or your PC's power supply is on its way out and couldn't handle an additional 20W power draw.
