Hi

I would just like a simple parts list of items I can go into pcpartpicker and add to cart and drop.in to bring my 700 230 up to date

For minor gaming

But mainly production and editing of music and video please any and all suggestions and help greatly appreciated I've spent 3 nights trying to find applicable components to no avail

Any and all suggestions will be sincerely considered and are welcomed please just help me make this pc as up to spec as possible with the best components that are compatible for this pc in specific thank you

Can you do that?
i looked quickly, and from what i saw this site, and done to build computers, can you just buy a few parts?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
in short, I did not quite understand, if you can buy just in details

anyway we don't know anything about your budget
For my part, I would never give references of an exact product, never tested.
I will therefore give you only some information of what is indicated compatible for the computer, and some advice, for you to see then, what you buy

if it' s this one

16 gb, could be interesting

  • Dual channel memory architecture
  • Two 204-pin DDR3 DIMM sockets
  • Supports the following:
    • PC3 10600 (1333 MHz)
    • PC3 12800 (1600 MHz)
  • Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DIMMs
  • Supports up to 16 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers
  •
Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 (GT2)
Power Supply
Internal 300W (100V-240V)

The power here is what will limit your graphics card choices, but you don't need something huge for simple low-power gaming!
you must therefore check the power required, the number of additional pci connectors required for powering the card, if available on your power supply unit, and the size, which is too large, may not fit.

not much but maybe one or two examples here
also check if your bios is uefi
otherwise, forget recent graphics cards
