Hey man!

I just wanted to encourage you on the temperature of your GPU. I know it's maddening trying when you see that 82* Celsius, but keep in mind that HP isn't just making some arbitrary statement about what temp your GPU can withstand. In my opinion Nvidia crushes the competition when it comes to performance, but I'm personally bias because I've tried other GPU's with different builds and what not. Just so you know I have the exact same computer as you fully upgraded. 64 gigs of ram 3TB's of hardrive and my main goal is to keep (my baby)  **Cringe** nice and cool. I scoured the internet reading about how hot is to hot and where should I be "most" of the time on temps, what to low , yada , yada, yada... The fact is that even NVidia post where you should be ant what the norm is. https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1070-review,9.html I can't tell you how many times I've been to Best Buy and almost bought a liquid cooler for my rig. I literally had my card in the card swiper thingy and the guy was like... Don't buy this. You don't need it. I didn't make my decision based of the nerd at Best Buy, although he was the common denominator in me buying that day, (no pun intended) but instead I made my decision based off about a years worth of casually reading article after article, watching countless videos of Pro's and cons of Liquid cools VS's air cooled. Here is what I have found to be factual for this rig , my rig. If you want to run a lower temp then look into a liquid cooling set, but be prepared for it to not have as much as of a dramatic affect as it sounds. liiiiiiqqqiiidd coooool. Liquid cooling is for people that over clock, or tinker with their rig bench marks. In my journey of "How hot is to hot" I've found that , you have 3 options.

Option 1- Purchase a liquid cooling unit and install it, just a standard $80.00 Corsair, granted I feel like their is a lot of evidence out there that liquid cooling is for the birds because of having to maintain it and when compared to other Air cooled units, in some cases... "Air cooling is just better". -- Linus Tech

Option 2- I'm guessing you run your **bleep** on Extreme and Ultra... I mean I do. A lot of people are like "Erma God, I'm not doing that to my GPU", but bro you didn't pay all that money to run your GPU on mid to high. Use that hoe. HP is a great brand and the Omen is a freakish beast.

Option3- This is efficient and will definitely keep your PC down in that 72*C range but it will come at the cost of your stock fan. I personally think having to replace a stock fan that came with my AIO is small price to pay when keeping my GPU cool. If you down load MSI after burner you can control how hard you want your fan to blow... Literally. MSI gives you the option for Auto which literally automatically adjust your temp to stay with HP's specs. It should make you happy when you are at full load playing a Ram hungry processor bending Sim like Digital combat simulator, or an open world like rust, to see that your fan when in Auto mode per MSI Afterburner is on busting out 30% of what it can do. If you really want to drop downto 71*C then crack that fan up all the way. Some people are like "This is so hard on your fan", well all I can say is I adjust my fan per the needs of the game I'm playing. If I'm playing a heavy loaded game like Arma 111 or Digital Combat Simulator or Rust then I crank my fan speed up. MSI gives you the ability to involved in how to maintain your PC. Anyways, I'm sure you've resolved your problem by now, but I just wanted to pass on some hands on personal experience information. I'm not an expert but I've read a good bit about my rig and what it's capable of and what the norm is. I remember back when I would run World of Warcraft on Ultra with a crappy i3 alienware gtx 645 and fan stay'd buzzing like a 747 for 5 years straight. I still have it and it still kicks ass. for a side comp to google and surf the web. Don't be uhscared about the temp.... It'll all be ok 😄
