Hello HP community!
I come to you to seek help with upgrading my ancient computer. I was simply wondering if the case for the p7-1219 fits the majority of microATX motherboards?
The deal is, I have a decent cpu (i5 6000) and the majority of motherboards for it are microATX. I want to keep the case really badly for some reason and just wanted some help doing it!

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Upgrade the case if you are planning on installing a newer motherboard (MB).
The p7-1219 is limited to USB 2.0 on the front panel (F_P).
You will be pairing a Legacy chassis with modern components. This will limit your F_P I/O options.
You may have mounting problems if the HP MB standoffs don't match the retail MB mount points. You may not be able to move the HP MB standoffs to the correct locations.
You may also have a problem with HP's F_P connectors and the ATX standard F_P headers on the MB.
