My pc only has a 180w power supply is there any way to upgrade it, e.g. does it use a standard size?

@Tactical_duck , welcome to the Community.

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  They make a 500W (L05757-800) that works with the Erica motherboard.  I believe from my previous research that the Erica and Erica2 motherboards have the same power connector.  Here is the PSU on HP PartSurfer: https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=L05757-800

As you will see, it is not available in the UK.  You will most likely have to contact HP Customer Support to see if they can sell you an upgrade.

Here is a Power Supply Cross Reference Chart that will show you where I got this information: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...
