I purchased a new processor selected from the list on the support page and when I installed it, I got the "unsupported processor" text.
I bought an AMD Phenom II X6 1075T which was on the list. (3ghz, AM3, 6-core 125W)
Any idea why and how to correct the issue?
My machine has 6 gigs of RAM at this point also.
Do I need other updates? It wouldn't even begin the boot process. It just powered down immediately.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see anywhere on the specs page that the max is 95 watts. Very disappointed with the information on the HP site.
I will try to return the current processor and get a replacement of 95 watts.
I appreciate the information.
