Hello,
The HP t630 Thin Client Specifications contain the following statement under Storage: "Win 10 IoT, 64 bit: 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB"
What will happen if I add a larger SSD that 128GB (for example 256GB)?
Will the t630 no longer function? Or will it only use 128GB? Or will it just function because the text is from an era where 128GB was the largest size available in the market?
Thanks in advance,
SJW

Hi:
I installed a Western Digitial Blue 256 GB SATA M.2 SSD in mine, because I installed a full version of W10 Pro on it.
That was all I needed, but you could probably go to 1 TB if you wanted.
Mine only came with an 8 GB SSD, so that was nowhere near enough space to install Windows on.
I installed 16 GB of memory in it and maxed out the internal video memory to the 1 GB setting, and the PC runs adequately, but is definitely not as fast as I would have liked it to be.

I have installed 2x500GB (SiliconPower) in HP T630 and checked both standard ports (M.2) as well as internal USB (via adapter) could discover and use this drives without problem. The only issue is the "short" slot - you have to use some customised solutions to keep drive stable 🙂 And USB (internal) can't boot (for some reasons). P.
