Hello, I want to upgrade the TPM on my HP z440 computer from 1.4 to 2.0

but I am not sure I am doing this correctly.

 

I downloaded the package sp87753 extracted it and used the TPMConfig64.exe program to try to upgrade the TPM.

 But this is not changing the TPM in bios.

 

My Question is "Do I need to run the HpqPswd64.exe program also ? "

 

I upgraded the bios in bios setup to latest 6.2

 

Also do I need to unlock the bios with bitlocker first ?

It so happened that an HP Z440 Workstation was one of my upgrade projects early last year, and just like you, I also tried to update/upgrade the TPM, but didn't succeed:

I have mothballed my HP Z440 Workstation since then, but if you find a way to install TPM 2.0 on your Workstation, I would be very interested!
