What happened ?
HP was providing support on the HP z440 in Windows-11
Now they are NOT ?
Anyways it still works with Windows-11 and Microsoft is providing driver support and updates support.
I want to know if this computer CPU and Motherboard will be supported in Windows-12 ?

HP never provided support or drivers for the Z440 and W11.

None of the Z440's processors meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements.

Granted, you can run W11 just fine on the Z440, but you have to use a workaround to bypass the W11 hardware checks in order to perform an in-place upgrade from W10>W11 or to all the new builds of W11 as they are released each October.
Therefore, you would have to do the same thing for W12.

Neither did I on any of the 13 different PC's I upgraded from W10 to W11.
I haven't paid a dime for a license or product key.
They still aren't supported and still won't automatically get the next update to W11.
In other words, if you don't use a workaround to do an in-place upgrade to W11 24H2 your Z440 won't get it automatically because it is not supported by Microsoft to run W11.
You can do this after Microsoft releases the 24H2 ISO file to the public.

Otherwise, you will have to do a clean install of the new build each year.
