I am guessing you have 550-310 and there are two bios available. I peeked into one of them and there is contains an executable (not a ROM or BIN) so you will have temporarily run windows 10 to do the upgrade. Possibly you can boot 10 but but start a "repair" and run the bios app TOTALLY AT YOUR OWN RISK from the repair window.. You might ask first over at answers.microsoft if it is possible.

Hpe, can refer to a whole other series of computer
like this one for example

so @lalla_6307 give the exact reference, and don't touch anything until nothing is certain
please give your bios version as well, and the reason for this problem
This type of computer may not have any more updates available!
