Product: HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-xa0014

The computer was in storage since January. Turned it on and the keyboard won’t work even after I put new batteries in. Tried looking on the internet but it refuses to say how to get the keyboard into pairing mode or how to fix any problem with it. Any advice would be welcome. 

After the new batteries were added, the caps lock button did turn on, but the keyboard didn’t register?
