I'm replacing a Seagate SSD in my HP Model No: M01-F0023na but can't see how to release the old hard drive.  There are no external screws and I can't locate any release clips.  Can someone help please.

Thank you Paul that's solved the problem.  I'd hoped that there was an easier way of removing the drive via external screws or clips but no such luck.  Anyway thank you for responding it was helpful.

Paul, thanks for helping me with the hard drive information.  I've successfully replaced the drive.  However in so doing I accidentally detached one of the optical drive cables from the motherboard!  It's a short cable with one end a white 4 pin connector which I assume is that for the motherboard.  I've tried googling this but cannot see where to make the connection.  Any ideas please?

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know where that cable goes and recommend that you start a new topic on that problem.

At approximately 18:22 into the service video I posted the other day, the video shows a very brief section for removing the power and data cables from the optical drive.

Maybe that will help you find the where the other end of the cable goes.
