@tien123 -- the "form factor" is the physical dimensions of the disk-drive (height, width, depth).
Years ago, I had a disk-drive that was as wide (5.25 inches) as a current CD/DVD device.
Most "desktop" disk-drives now are 3.5 inches wide.
Most "floppy-disk" devices were 3.5 inches wide. Same size for internal ZIP and LS-120 devices (from a generation ago).
Most "laptop" disk-drives are 2.0 inches wide.
Most SSD devices are 2.0 inches wide.
So, look inside your computer, to see the form-factor of the current disk-drive that is mounted into a "drive-bay", and to see whether there is another "drive-bay" of some size.
There are inexpensive ($5) metal "trays" that hold a 2.0 inch SSD inside a 3.5-inch width, if you don't have an empty 2.0 inch drive-bay for an SSD.
Depending on the age of your computer's motherboard, you can purchase up to 2000 or 4000 gigabyte "spinning" disk-drives. Do you need that much disk-space?
Also, SSD prices for more than 512 gigabytes can be very expensive.
