Yes, you can add a standard HDD. Here is the Upgrading and Servicing Guide for the computer: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06425327
On Pages 16 thru 18 are instructions for removing and replacing the HDD. I suggest checking inside of the case to see if there is a SATA port on the motherboard and a SATA Data and Power cable available.
