From the requirements listed vs what the Omen has - the Radeon RX 460 out ranks the minimum requirement  Radeon™ HD 7750 according to this site:

http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-RX-460-vs-AMD-HD-7750/3641vsm7709

The i5 requirement can be met or exceeded by changing the CPU to one of the more powerful ones listed on the support page. Either of the i5's or jumping up to the i7, either of them.  Do not try to substitute a different CPU type number. Compare the expense vs the benefit and whether you have the will and skill to change the CPU or having someone do it for you.

The power supply should be OK for what is being discussed here.

Here is the support page for that model

https://support.hp.com/za-en/product/omen-by-hp-870-100-desktop-pc-series/12079703/document/c0533154...

It shows it has a Radeon RX 460  graphics card - while not overly blessed, it is good enough to do better than 30fps on most games.

The CPU is listed as i3-6100, but upgrades are shown.  Look up the games that are your "most -wanted- to play" choices and post the requirements.

Upgrading the graphics card is possible but might require a power supply upgrade, too.  Once the game requirements are posted, then some better advise can follow.

I've decided to go with one of the i5 processors would you have a link to a guide that would train me to replace my processor

Here is a simple YouTube showing the basics

Yours might look  somewhat different but watch it and then look at yours to see if there are questions.  There are several YouTubes that cover changing out the CPU's, so look at more than one, if necessary.
