Hello everyone, I am new to this community and starting to look for some solutions through my Compaq 8200 Elite pc. My problem is when I try to install a Win10 on my Compaq 8200 Elite pc there is a audio problem that when I plugged my headphones, there is this distortion sound that is very irritating, I tried several options and methods around here but it didn't work, Is there any method that I can learn like degrading the sound device or something else? Thank you in advance for those who will help. Cheers!

Hi:
If your PC has the onboard Realtek audio and not an add on sound card, see if the W10 Realtek audio driver from the HP 800 G1 PC resolves the problem for you.
I have two 8200 Elite CMT's (both running W11 now), but I used that driver on W10, and it still works on W11 as well.

That would be the only suggestion I can offer.
