Have some questions regarding high fan noise and high temperatures. I have had this pc for about a month and have been glad for my purchase. Have never owned a PC with these specs, and bought it because of a good deal.
Gaming abit of World Of warcraft, The witcher 3, and CS-go. The temperatures of my CPU is often around the 80 Celcius mark and from what i've read It is very normal with this CPU. I was just a bit worried about the longevity of the hardware working on this high temperatures. But I can live with that.
The biggest problem for me is the noise, sometimes out of nowhere it starts revving like a jet engine even though im just in the desktop. In the OMEN Hub program the fans are on normal mode. I tried putting it in silent mode and it helped abit but is there any drawbacks about using less fan noise? I guess the temperatures will be even higher, but if it doesnt have any drawbacks on the hardware I could have it on silent mode all the time. I saw a video on youtube where a guy explained what u could do, where you had to apply some thermal paste into some of the hardware that should help, but that isnt something I would like to tinker with myself. Is there anything I can do and Should I be worried about any of this or is that to be expected from such a premium product?

Hello
all I can tell you is don't change anything, you risk losing the warranty
Monitor the temperatures, if it gets too hot, contact HP
These models are known to heat up, see the other topics here, about this
the advice goes from the simple addition of a fan, to a complete disassembly, in order to place the important elements in another box
If we have the means, why not!

I wouldn't say that
The computer heats up, the fans have to run faster, in order to evacuate the heat
As a result, there is an increase in noise
but that must be reasonable, if you only hear the fans, then no, that's not quite normal
