Hello everyone!
I had a problem with my computer, which I have been using for 7 years and plan to use it for at least as long.
Two months ago I installed a new processor on my computer: Intel Core I7-3770 (before this update I used I5-3470) and then this problem occurred. Maybe she was there before, I just didn't notice her.
So, when I was making my next video in the Movavi video editor on Windows 10 x64, I noticed that somehow the case of my computer got very hot. Then I decided to find a program that would show me all the information about the temperature of my iron. When I opened it, I was surprised: the processor had a temperature of 81 degrees Celsius (!), but the cooler did not want to cool the CPU any more (although the idea was to). Then I decided to flash the official BIOS firmware from HP (2.90 Rev. A), because I haven't updated it since the date of purchase of this computer. The firmware was updated successfully, but the result is zero, the same problem (as it was and remains). I myself remember that I repeatedly cleaned my computer from dust once a year and everything worked fine, and now this is the problem.
In order not to spend money on buying another, newer PC, I decided to look for programs that would be able to control the fan that cools the processor, since this is the only normal computer that I use to play games designed for Windows XP (I have a YouTube channel and that's where I sometimes upload videos about my old games, but I won't talk about its name). And yes, if anything, I have a normal modern PC that works fine and which I bought 2 years ago.
So, I would like to find such a program (to adjust the rotation speed of the cooling CPU fan), otherwise I will lose my I7 - it will not withstand long operation in such conditions (81 degrees without normal cooling). Can anyone advise me on any of these programs? I found the Speedfan program, but I could not adjust the fan to normal cooling (which was a shame for me).
Thanks to all who will recommend me this kind of programs!
Thank you all in advance!
