HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000i (8BG56AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wish to gain more storage and RAM and if possible a better graphics card. I was wondering what parts should I buy?

Greetings @numberedcolors

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Please provide a specific HP PC Product Number. TG01-0000i is a generic product series ID.

And, it has been very difficult to review MB specs at HP Support Sites the last week or so.

It would be great if you provide the following info:

1. Existing power supply specs (wattage)

2. Existing RAM config (how many sticks, speed, and total capacity)

3. Existing discrete graphics card

You can probably add a second SATA SSD or swap in a higher capacity PCIe NVME M.2 SSD, or do both upgrades.

TG01 PCs generally have two memory slots.

A graphics card upgrade is dependent upon the existing power supply. However, it is possible to swap in a HP (only) 500 watt power supply.

Greetings @numberedcolors

Thanks for the additional info.

I would check Crucial Memory at this Site for compatible memory upgrades and storage upgrade options. Use the Crucial Scanner. You can use other storage manufacturers, it's your choice.

A TG01-1022np (3Z720EA) PC at this Link shows a 310 watt power supply. I can't find product specs for 1K0D1AA.

The following HP power supplies will work with your MB and case if you have a 310 watt power supply:

400 watt, part number L04618-800

500 watt, part number L05757-800

Both parts should be available at eBay.

I'm a little fuzzy on replacement power supplies if you have a 380 watt part. TG01 MBs generally work with the 400 watt and 500 watt power supplies listed above.@NonSequitur777 can provide additional PSU upgrade options.

Check this Video for some possible graphics card upgrade options using either: the HP: 400 watt or 500 watt power supply.

The available storage upgrade options are in my previous response.

No problem, @Bill_To, let's take a look.

@numberedcolors,

According to the specs, your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000i (1K0D1AA) as fitted with the Baker motherboard (SSID: 8768), is powered by a 400-watt power supply (p/n: L69242-800) -please verify.

With this quality-build 400-watt power you can power a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 model powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this competitively priced Amazon purchase example: Amazon.com: ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4060 8GB Twin Edge OC DLSS 3 8GB GDDR6 128-bit 17 Gbps PCIE 4.0....

This RTX 4060 graphics card upgrade would be very significant compared with a GTX 1650 Super: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1650S (Super) vs RTX 4060.

As @Bill_To mentioned, the p/n: L05757-800 (500-watt) power supply upgrade option will allow you to upgrade/power to a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 Ti, such as this Amazon purchase example: Amazon.com: PNY GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti 8GB VERTO™ OC Dual Fan Graphics Card DLSS 3 (128-bit, PCIe 4.0,..., sporting an even more substantial graphics performance increase: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1650S (Super) vs RTX 4060-Ti.

Kind Regards,

NonSequitur777
