Slimline Desktop 270-p026
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Slimline 2270-p026, 1 TB hard drive 8 GB... running Intel's Core i3-7100T processor 7th Gen. When the desktop is booted the fan is intermittent high RPM (noisy) to low RPM. After approx 20 to 30 min of intermittent foreplay it runs (what appears to be) normal until high demand is placed on the system and things heat up. During boot I also get an error msg informing that the fan is malfunctioning.... Please point me to a source where I can purchase a replacement fan, thanks.

@VooVgle , welcome to the forum.

Here is the Part # for the fan: 919807-001

It is no longer available from HP.  Here are all of the parts for your computer on HP PartSurfer:  https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=Z5L82AA

I found the fan, but there was no picture for it.  You may want to take the fan to a local computer shop to see if they can match it.  This would be a much safer way than buying it basically sight unseen on the Internet.

Good luck!
