I do know that ill need a better power supply but I don't know which low profile video card I could use, I did upgrade the ram to 32gb

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!
Your HP Slimline 270-p024 Desktop PC (Z5N83AA) is fitted with a Lubin motherboard (SSID: 82F2), which is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, meaning, you can swap its anemic 180-watt power supply with any industry standard ATX power supply, as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) (and cooling air intake/exhaust) for fit inside your case.
There are definitely some great low-profile graphics cards out there, but it depends on your budget.
If you are willing to spend a little more, look no further than one of these low-profile GPU's:
1.) RTX A2000 6GB/12GB: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/rtx-a2000.c3820 (length: 167 mm or 6.6 inches).
2.) RTX 4060 LP 8GB: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/gigabyte-rtx-4060-low-profile-oc.b11375 (length: 182 mm or 7.2 inches).
These GPUs can be powered with a 400-watt power supply.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
