Welcome to our HP User Forum!
An HP Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643) with the Intel B550A chipset, can be fitted with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM, 288-pin RAM sticks.
As long as your 3600 MHz RAM is DDR4/288-pin, it should be compatible but will down throttle to 3200 MHz. However, quite a few fancy gaming RAM such as Corsair Vengeance and G.SKILL sport a low SPD (default) RAM speed, such as 2133 MHz, and if that is the case, your RAM may be stuck at this lower RAM speed if you do not have access to XMP.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
NonSequitur777
