Product: HP Omni 27-1057c Desktop PC

Found a little compartment in the back of desktop that contains an HP thumb drive connected to the desktop with serial # and model #??????????    Never new it was there.  Can anyone shed some light on this and help me understand why would this even be there and what is it for?   Thanks!!!!!

You mean a USB device?

That could be a USB stick, or a Wi-Fi dongle, or a Keyboard/Mouse Dongle?

  1. Optical disk drive
  2. Game console input (only on models with an HDMI input)
  3. Stand
  4. VESA cover area
  5. Kensington lock slot
  6. USB wireless keyboard and mouse dongle cover
  7. Back I/O panel (specific I/Os are model dependent)
  8. Side I/O panel
