HP tp01-1030
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got a HP tp-01 1030.  It is a bit basic.  Has one ssd.  I would like to add a second hard drive.  Is there a way to add a either a SATA hard drive or a second ssd internally?  What kind should I look for?  Thanks!

Should be no problem adding second drive unless you want to boot from it.

Your system is described here   and the motherboard is described here

I went over to eBay and found a picture  of it and there are (maybe) three connectors that can be used to attach a hard drive

You may have a DVD on one of them.  For sure there is sata1 and sata2 but I am not sure about the dark blue connector in the right corner area.

There is probably a space in your case for either a 3.5 or a 2.5

I assume your primary/boot drive is a 512 GB PCIe M2 SSD?

Here's a Youtube video link where someone shows installing a second hard drive in an HP TP01-1050, but I believe is also applicable for your 1030, but you'll have to make sure it is.  It shows the addition of an HDD, but the same principle applies for adding a slimmer-sized SSD.  I don't think you'll need an SSD caddy, just four screws -see the video.
