HP ELITE 8200 SFF

I placed the new graphics card on the white socket and it wasn't spinning at all. Why is that happening?
It has 3 exit ports do you have to use all 3 or you can use only one?
Can someone help me?

Also when I placed the GPU in the white slot the computer went black what can I do to fix this issue?

Does the card have a PCIe connector requirement?

What is the brand and part number of the video card?

You are misunderstanding what I asked you.

There are PCIe slots, x1, X4 and x16  on motherboards. PCIe slot designations show how many PCIe lanes are available.

Video cards always fit in a PCIe x16 slot on a motherboard.
There can also be PCIe headers on  the top edge generally of video cards, or not, which require additional power other than from the PCIe slot.
That means a video card with any  real power, as in 8GB or higher requires a separate power connecter (PCIe) cable to be connected  from the PC's PSU.

GT 740 video cards do not have additional PCIe power requirements.

Take a read of some HP threads found in my online search. See the hyperlink below.

Moving the motherboard to a larger case
