Please provide a HP Product Number for better assistance. Check this Site for details.

 

Most Laptop/Notebook PCs use mobile processors. Mobile CPUs are usually soldered to the CPU socket (Socket BGA).

 

Upgrading a mobile CPU requires a special Tech who can remove the existing CPU, reball the CPU socket, then solder in the new CPU.

 

Note: HP may not offer any CPU upgrade options for your HP Notebook MB.
